79. Altın Küre Ödülleri'nde adaylar açıklandı. Netflix yapımı 'Power of The Dog' ve 'Belfast' 7'şer adaylıkla ödüllerde başı çekiyor.
Sinema dünyasının önemli ödülleri arasındayken son yıllardan ardarda yaşanan skandallar nedeniyle gözden düşen Altın Küre (Gloden Globes) adayları açıklandı. Hollywood Yabancı Basın Birliği (HFPA) tarafından dağıtılan ödüller, adayların belirlenmesindeki usulsüzlükler ve birliğin 87 üyesi arasında hiç siyah üye olmaması nedeniyle eleştiri oklarının hedefi oldu. Hollywood'da birçok ünlü ismi temsil eden halkla ilişkiler şirketleri HFPA'nın ayrımcı politikaları nedeniyle ödüllere katılmayacağını duyururken, töreni canlı yayınlayan NBC kanalı da 9 Ocak 2022'de yapılacak ödül törenini yanıylamayacağını açıkladı.
HFPA, 21 yeni üye aldığını ve 79 yıllık tarihinin en geniş üye sayısına ulaştığını, yeni üyelerin yeni bir bakış açısı getirdiğini bunun da birliğin gelişimine katkı sağladığını açıklasa da adaylıklar Hollywood'da geçtiğimiz yıllarda yarattığı heyecanı yaratmadı. Eleştiriler, protestolar ve skandalların gölgesinde açıklanan adaylıklarda Netflix yapımı 'Power of The Dog' ve 'Belfast' filmleri 7'şer adaylıkla öne çıktı. Netflix, 'Power of The Dog''un yanı sıra 'Don't Look Up' ve 'Tick, Tick... Boom!'la toplamda 17 adaylıkla zirvede yer aldı.
